Morinosato English Conversation Club
MECC メック
Morinosato English Conversation Club (MECC) is a monthly English club for adults.
Sessions are FREE for all members. All are welcome to join.
Mothers with small kids are also welcome.
Membership is free!
MECC is designed for Morinosato or Atsugi community members to enjoy speaking
English with a native speaker, once a month for about 90 minutes.
Topics range from daily life, current news, family, hobbies, travel, food, friends, health, etc.
Interactive activities and games will also be played
to ensure that lessons are interesting and enjoyable.
Lessons:
- are held at Morinosato Community Center 森の里公民館 (厚木市森の里1-31-1)

- are usually held on various days of the month (Tuesdays to Fridays) to allow busy
members a chance to attend on a day that they are available (and also depending
on the availability of the room). Please check the schedule below for dates and times.
- start from 10:00am to 11:30am (lessons may go to 12:00noon for larger groups).
- please bring writing materials, a notebook, and some questions if you wish.
(Boardgames, worksheets and activities will be provided).
- are usually held in the cooking room to allow members to enjoy tea & snacks.
